It wasn’t long ago I was writing about organic, natural skincare and thinking, ‘why is there so little available??’. Already I’ve noticed such a rise in brands and pharmacies offering natural alternatives to the usual chemical laden products we pile on to our faces.

Also with the wave in conscious, natural skincare I’ve noticed the quality of the skincare and makeup improve dramatically. Hate to say it but ‘natural make up’ used to be really average compared to the usual brands. Now we have the likes of luxury brand Hourglass vegan makeup and Natio plant based beauty (amongst many others) absolutely killing it with amazing products which are now permanently in my makeup bag 🙂

Recently I got the chance to try this awesome brand Blessed by Nature. Blessed by Nature’s ingredients are obtained locally from the most sustainable sources and their packaging is recyclable (WHICH I LOVE).

They use Natural and organic ingredients and their products contain Australian botanicals, extracts, vitamins and natural antioxidants to help reduce the signs of ageing, plus natural essential oils that create a beautiful, sensory experience.

I have been using:

The Daily Moisturiser: With  Aloe Vera, Macadamia, Calendula, Lavender, Kakadu Plum and Vitamin E. Such a beautiful natural moisturiser, it worked perfectly for my sensitive (rosacea prone) skin and felt really hydrating. The unique blend of natural ingredients and essential oils leave the skin hydrated, smooth and soft.

The Hydrating Facial Mist toner: With Witch Hazel, Rose Water, Calendula, Sweet Orange and Green Tea. I love a toner spray and this one feels so refreshing on your skin! It removes impurities and closes pores leaving skin more refined.

The antioxidant soothing eye serum: With Sunflower, Aloe Vera, Jojoba, Althaea, Kakadu Plum and Calendula extracts. Really beautiful and delicate eye cream aimed to target the signs of fine lines and wrinkles and help reduce puffiness and dark colouration around the eye area. I have been using it every day with no irritation.

The Multi Effect Tinted Moisturiser: With Aloe Vera, Macadamia, Jojoba, Kakadu Plum, Evening Primrose and Vitamin E. I have been using this on my ‘off’ days when I don’t want to wear much makeup. The coverage is quite good and it contains sunscreen which is essential here in Sydney. I have been using it instead of foundation when I want more of a fresh faced look and a make up free day!  In addition to coverage it hydrates the skin, infuses it with natural antioxidants and has sunscreen for protection.

The Antioxidant night restoring cream: With Vitamins A, C, E, Rose, Patchouli and Jojoba Oils. I love this night cream!! It has natures best natural anti-ageing ingredients that work together to fight free radicals and promote healthy, glowing, younger looking skin. When I wake up I still feel like my skin is hydrated but not sticky 🙂
