Breakfast crunch

This is basically a sweet version of my salad topper it’s so easy and handy to throw on top of fresh fruit, yoghurt, oats, smoothies, smoothie bowls and so on. I normally just use what I have in my cupboard which could include any type of nuts, dried fruit and seeds. If you like chocolate I would definitely recommend getting hold of some cacao nibs, and if you like a good crunch see if you can get hold of some activated buckwheat. I use one of my favourite brands Loving Earth and they call them Buckinis

You will need:

1/2 cup of Buckinis

1/2 cup of sunflower seeds

1/4 cup of pepitas

1/2 cup of coconut flakes

1/8 cup of chopped pistachios

1/8 cup of chopped dried papaya

1/4 cup of ground cacao nibs

Method

Chop any of the larger ingredients such as the nuts and papaya

Grind the cacao nibs using a mortar and pestle. You can buy ground cacao but I find it is ground too fine, I like having a few larger pieces in there!

Add into a jar and give it a shake

Enjoy x x
