The plain tee: Bonds

March 27, 2016

Whats not to love about a plain tee? You can dress it up or down and it will be your style staple throughout the year!

Even though it’s ‘just a plain tee’ you can get so many different looks from this under-rated necessity that I’m sure everyone owns! Think: v-neck, fitted, crew neck, soft, distressed, cropped, long, organic, deep-v, stretch…the list goes on!

Personally I love a round neck tee with a bit of fabric and I’m not really a fan of the tight fitting stretchy ones!

As part of my content challenge for Rising Social Star competition I was asked to showcase how I would style a plain tee! This is my first ‘look’ and as you know I LOVE to be ‘active’ but I’m also a real homebody. There is nothing nicer in my opinion than just hanging around at home in my distressed boyfriend jeans wearing my classic white tee and I think this really represents who I am at the core: low-maintenance, classic, tomboy, country-girl (although I do have the occasional excuse to get dressed up which I revel in!).

I hope you are getting to know who I am in terms of my style and how fashion is a constant evolution for us all! I’m hoping someday soon I can show you more of my athleisure styling and maybe, (just maybe) I’ll throw in some more ‘chic’ looks for Autumn! If there is anything you really want to see styled then please let me know, I love to hear your comments!

I will be posting different looks over the next couple of weeks on my Instagram for the Rising Social Star competition. Please keep yourselves posted and if you like what you see don’t forget  to like and comment…it would mean so much to me 🙂
