So…its been over a month ago that I started my getting back into it phase. I’ve pretty much only been eating clean and since January the 1st I’ve run every second day which has been tough but achievable. Just last week I added personal training and gym work into the program (as I said I would) and hopefully in a few weeks I’ll start some yoga/barre. Strength training is not something that comes naturally to me but after my year of personal training last year I feel much more confident in the gym, especially since I’ve got a thorough program to follow. So now I’ve added strength in I’ll do 3 runs a week and 3 strength sessions a week and see how I go.
This morning was awesome I started hill training which I plan to do once a week. I did 20 x 130m hill sprints with a 2 minute time limit for each one (up to the top and back) and then a 5 km jog. It was really tough and so humid this morning but I’m excited to implement it into my regime.
