As part of my Bonds ambassadorship I was asked to take part in a few ‘unusual’ ways to stay fit! One of the classes I went to was skyfit at the trampolining centre skyzone in Sydney. Skyfit offers fitness classes on the trampoline that aim to work the upper-body and lower body and get the heart rate up! According to the website you can burn up to 1000 calories in an hour and is up to 68% more efficient than jogging.

I have seen so many bloggers go to Skyzone on snapchat that I was waiting for an excuse to go an try it out! I tried out the ‘jumpstart’ class and the ‘sky circuit’ class both were 30 minutes each and I felt like I had a really high intensity workout.

The jumpstart class is a cardio based class aiming to teach basic jumps whilst still burning calories – I have to say I’m a real novice when it comes to trampolining so this was a great introduction! I would definitely have to give this class a few more attempts before moving to the more advanced level!

The sky circuits made me feel much more at home, the aim is to work through 9 different stations the trampoline with a partner. The stations included all the things i’m used to (lunges, TRX, burpees, push-ups, sit-ups), however doing these activities on the trampoline was quite challenging! I really felt like i’d had an awesome workout by the end of my classes!

Skyzone have locations in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra so if you’re looking for a fun, high-intensity workout you should definitely give it a try!
