My creamy green smoothie

In the last few years I feel we have been inundated with countless green smoothie recipes.......this is something I have clearly embraced but I've realised not everyone has quite the same taste when it comes to drinking kale for breakfast. This is a combo that I really love and I find the avocado makes it so creamy and delicious, but if you are not a green aficionado and kale is something you are still working on you could try spinach instead.

You will need:

1 cup of kale

the juice of half a grapefruit

1 cup of coconut water

thumb sized piece of ginger

sprinkling of cinnamon

half a carrot

half an avocado

1 tbsp goji berries

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 big blocks of ice

Method:

Place all of the ingredients into the blender until smooth

Serves 1
